'Vorsicht!' deals with our fear of the red ticket, symbolized by warning signs, red cards, and provisional seizures. Red tickets are attached all over the city of Berlin with warning messages such as 'Watch out for the Red!', 'Do not deliver to children', 'Warning! Drinking may cause memory aquisition’. Like red used to be considered as the color of Reds, this is a warning to those extreme red complex that seized freedom and left a huge trauma of division, hatred and fear. Red tickets are continuously being attached and archived.
‘Vorsicht!’는 경고문, 레드카드, 가압류 등으로 상징되는 빨간 딱지에 대한 우리의 공포심을 다룬다. 베를린 시내 곳곳에 붙여진 빨간 딱지들은 각각 ‘빨갱이 조심!’, ‘어린이에게 배달하지 마시오’, ‘경고! 음용시 기억 획득의 위험이 있을 수도 있음’ 등 경고의 메세지를 지닌다. 이는 ‘빨간색은 빨갱이들의 색깔’이라 칭하며, 자유를 압류하는 동시에 분열과 혐오, 공포라는 거대한 트라우마를 남긴 극단적인 레드 콤플렉스를 향한 경고문이다. 빨간 딱지 부착과 아카이빙은 계속 진행 중이다.
